I started Jay’s Loving Animal Care in 2019, and recruited my loving husband in 2021. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with so many lovely pet parents and to have many furry four-legged friends. I’ve been caring for fur kids since I was a child. I was the kid neighbors trusted with the key to their house, so I could feed the cat and water the plants while they were on vacation. Over the years, I’ve had several careers, while always maintaining a side gig as a pet sitter/dog walker. Some of my past animal care work has been as a humane educator in schools for SPCALA, as part of the adoption counseling team at the SPCALA shelter in Woodland Hills, California, and as a kennel attendant for Santa Monica Animal Control. I am trained in Pet First Aid, Kennel & Shelter Management, Basic Leash Training, and Dog Bite Prevention. I am a believer in positive reinforcement training.
